The scent carries through The Wild from the neighbor's property.
The ground is littered with blooms.
The sunlight highlights just one.
Every river of muscari starts with a trickle.
I think it pisses God off
when you walk by the color purple in a field
and don't notice it.

It's 77 degrees. A lazy day was spent in the hammock. Planting out can wait. Maybe God's trying to tell me something.

my lilacs are budding, i can't wait to enjoy them in a week or so !!
Tom - Great post! I loved that little you tube video. The line that got to me was 'See Daddy, even sinners have soul'. The music was great.
Your hammock time was no doubt just what you needed for this day, sounds good to me. Sometimes we just need to take a break from our busy-ness and relax.
I think God does have something to say to each of us and speaks to us in many different ways. Resting in hammocks, working in our gardens, washing dishes, in home restoration, crafting, playing, dancing, listening to music, working our jobs.
I would love to be able to see wisteria in person, plus smell the scent. What a treat that would be!
Purples and blues are favorites in my gardens. They touch my heart and soul.
Have a nice evening and a great week.

Oh, the leisure of the hammock. I would relish your purple litter. My Hyacinth won't be open for at least another couple of weeks. I did see a first Johnny-Jump-Up tho.
A beautiful 65 today.

Goodness, wasn't today lovely? And I love your purple theme. I have a wonderful childhood memory of a huge wisteria (and its overwhelming fragrance) that flowered near the library where my sister and I read, in our rotation between piano lessons.
You were smart (smarter than us) to be relaxing... we did make it over to the gardens at Biltmore this morning to enjoy the spring tulips and flowering shrubs.

Loved this post! I haven't seen that movie is so long, and this song is such a great one.
Sounds like you had a great day. The wisteria is amazing.
One can never get enough blue and purple in the garden. Great blog.
