Fifty-nine

Degrees. Yep. 59 degrees, sunny, and cool. What a week this has turned out to be.

I'm using only one crutch now. I even managed yesterday to get around a bit without that. This morning my leg is a bit sore, so I'll keep using it just to take some of the pressure off.

Carla offered to come by on Thursday to dig a few holes for me. I'll decide what to plant in the morning. I really want to clean out the potager too. But only if the leg cooperates.

1:39pm - 70 degrees. Sunny. Nice.

Walked around the yard, slowly with no crutch for the first time in two weeks. I think the white bed will have to stay for a while. I've got visitors on the Queen Anne's Lace.

The ginger lilies are budding.

My guara is putting out new growth. I was afraid it was lost.

Baby figs. I noticed them in my photo from a couple days ago.

The pile of things that need to be planted. Clearance racks are evil things.

Back to work.

Thanks Daisy. It's nice to move about without a piece of metal shoved under my arm.

Tom - makes me feel better to hear that crepe myrtle cuttings have been hard for you too. everything i've read said it was all so easy and fool proof. it left me feeling fool-ish.
