A Prediction.

I'm not one that like to see snow on the ground all winter long. But would it hurt Mother Nature to give us just a light dusting once in a while? Last night, the meteorologists predicted scattered snow showers again. We got more rain. It wasn't much. The street in front of my house is already dry. That's probably due to the winds that are bringing in another arctic front. I'm beginning to suspect that we will have no snow at all this winter.

After this weekend, the temperatures should start returning to normal. By Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll be back in the 50s during the day with barely freezing temperatures overnight. Sounds wonderful.

It was 36 degrees at 7am. It's 34 now. By 9am, we'll be back below freezing. We're already hit today's high.

We have already hit our high for the day too. If we get through this freezing weather over the weekend, hopefully our weather will return to somewhat normal next week too.

Your weather does sound pretty wonderful, although, we've had a very mild winter here in Nova Scotia so far. (Watch me jinx it.)

We got that "dusting" of snow here in VA. After days and days of bitter cold, finally something to pretty up the place and justify the cold. Brightens up those icy piles still left from the Snowpocalypse, too (yes, it's been so cold we still have some piles left from the snow 3 weeks ago).

We got your snow in Atlanta! Absolutely beautiful, but truly more than our highway departments can handle! The beautiful snow has now turned to ice, since we're in this cold snap....looking forward to 40's again on Monday!

I'm looking forward to 'normal' winter temperatures again, too. Our porch temp was 15F this morning -- brrrr.
