Found in the woods. Dug it up. Moved it twice in February including the initial transplant. Hardly watered it. Didn't really think about it. Today she's blooming. I think I'll keep her.
Salvia, zinnias, nasturtiums, Persian shield, Miss Bateman, and a newly dug rose have been planted out.
And some people think Roses are temperamental!

I've had that song stuck in my head for a day and a half now.
She is sweet! Does she have a scent? Lucky you, to have found her in the woods and brought her home. I'm sure she'll be happy.
It's the simple, wild roses that I love best.
