Wintersown hibiscus. I collected these seeds from a pure white blooming plant in Delaware last summer. It was growing all alone in the middle of the highway.
Still waiting on the brugs. It's going to be spectacular thanks to all the rain we've been getting.
Showers on and off today. When not raining, it's sunny. Humidity is in the upper 90s with 81 degrees. Just rain already.

There's a mailbox between here and the next town that has great wads of Miss Huff around it. Spectacular.
I just grow the trailing kind, but the upright grows at wood's edge elsewhere on the property and swarms of butterflies hover over it.
Miss Huff can get 5 feet tall here in the south if you let her. She is quite the little pig!
I'm going to take cuttings of this one soon. I want to edge the daylily border along the retaining wall. I had envisioned large swaths of yellow, orange, and red lantana there. It didn't quite turn out the way I had hoped. Maybe up against that brick, these will overwinter here.
i have a miss huff that would be as big as my house if i chose to let her. how do you collect seeds from lantana?
