Good Morning.

I've got two days off. My plans include getting out of bed. Done, and magnificently so. I'm having coffee and will probably take a nap this afternoon. Who wouldn't prefer to stay in bed when this is your view?

The light this morning was perfect. It's overcast, but soon will be clearing.

I love the way this miscanthus glows.

In the morning shade, coreopsis keeps on blooming.

Don't wake the spiders.

It's 72 degrees. A heavy dew coats everything. Still no rain.

It is a lovely view... to just sit and enjoy is worth the two days off. When sun peep through trees, the garden becomes so cheerful and alive.

What a wonderful way to start a day off. Early morning and late afternoon - my favorite times to enjoy the garden.

That spider reminded me of the ones we would see in our corn fields. They would spin their web across the whole aisle between the corn rows. I had forgotten about them. You is a wonderful view and my garden is getting so the attention will be cutting back and getting ready for snow.

Hope you've been enjoying your two days off. I love the sunlight in your pictures, and what you have growing there now is still a delight to see.

We've had some rain which has been really nice. There's a nice breeze blowing today. I'm indoors making dinner preparations. :-)

Enjoy the rest of today off, and have a great rest of the week.

Tom - Nice post. Seems like you are falling in love with your garden again after a long brutal summer. That coreopsis is a keeper.
