Red
Yvonne's Salvia (S. splendens)
Salvia subrotunda - native to Italy.
Bee balm
Why red? I saw the first hummingbird this morning zip past my head. It was going straight for the Yvonne's salvia in the perennial bed.
82 and very humid. Thunderstorms in the forecast for this evening. The beans, corn, and cucumbers need a dose of fertilizer. The brugmansias will need another feeding as well.
