Hard Candy Christmas

I put Christmas on the shelves today. It's really discouraging. I've had to listen to that witch and ghost reaper for more than a month. The same song. The same remarks. The same joke from a walker who is probably a little off her rocker.

The witch is motion activated. Her hoot sets the reaper into motion. Together it sounds more like catcalling than horror. The woman wearing too much makeup in all the wrong places, says to me as she grabs my arm, "I haven't had that much attention since my husband passed away." And she walks on.

It was a beautiful day to be inside. It's cooled off a bit with some clouds. The mosquitoes are out in force. I'll take Koda for a walk after dark.

YIKES!!! It's no wonder you put Christmas on the shelves today.

I just watched the little video and yes, we'll be fine, and we can't let sorrows bring us down.

Each day is a gift, may we all see and feel the joy and beauty in each one, learning and growing in love and peace, wellness and wholeness.

Have a great week Tom.

The witch and ghost reaper are part of the Halloween items we're selling this year. We're down to a single endcap of tacky trash mostly. It sells when it goes on clearance. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't just quit with Halloween soon.

Hi Tom,
Wondering if your old gardening blog info is in archive or somewhere we can still read? You had such wonderful photos and info...would love to be able to visit it occasionally. Glad to see you posting something. Hope things are going great at work and your "inside" the store position.
