Pink and orange

It's 41 degrees, up from a low of 37. Still no frost, but a very heavy dew. The high today should reach the mid 60s. Rain Wednesday and Thursday. At the crack of daybreak, I scattered seeds of rudbeckia, bee balm, and agastache in the meadow garden.

Oh and by the way, about the brugs..where do you have yours planted, shade, morning sun, full sun...? Thanks.

Darla, I had them in several places this year. The white ones got only morning sun until about 1pm. The orange and yellow got afternoon sun. Next year, I plan to have them all in an area where they will receive morning/mid-day sun only. The afternoon sun here was too much for them and they wilted severely.

I like your pinks and oranges. I want to grow more kinds of milkweed next summer for the monarchs. Do you have an annual type of milkweed in the third photo?

Tom, what are the names of the flowers in the two pics under the cosmos..one looks like it might be a lantana but doesn't look like lantana leaves, also what are the hot pink flowers?

Thank you, I know the afternoon sun here in North Florida would not be good for them...I'll do morning sun with maybe a tad of midday sun and see how they do...

Betty, the orange yellow flower is butterfly weed, Asclepias tuberosa. The pink flower is a variety of Aster, but without tags, there's no way of knowing the exact species. It was labeled as perennial for my zone. Both should return next year.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's dark and dreary this morning with rain in the forecast.
