A good day to stay inside

Today is my day for finishing up odd jobs here at the house. I've got a few more Christmas gifts to wrap, some emails to send, might make a few phone calls, and I need to clean the basement, again. It's sunny and 25 degrees at the moment. Monday's highs were in the mid 30s. I hope we can top that today.

Last night I spent some time looking through my photos of the house. I had intended to organize them into a before/after series. Instead, I watched some tv, read a couple chapters in Tony Advent's book, and went to bed early. I'll try to be more productive today. Or not.

Hi, Tom. Merry Christmas.

Your blog is off to a great start, as is your garden. Twenty daffodils turn into hundreds planted, but not all in one year. Twenty tulips don't turn into anything for me, except frustration. This year I put them in pots. We'll see. Hyacinths are a better choice, IMHO.

I look forward to seeing your garden blossom in the spring.

Thanks Nell. I can't wait to see what pops up this spring. Hopefully more than a couple of tulips from the 40 I planted in fall 2007.
