Confederate Rose

Wintersown in 2009, this plant is huge and about to bloom. A coworker asked if I had one. What Southern garden doesn't?

I can hardly wait to see this in bloom. I love your rock bordered bed.

Tom, please post pictures when it blooms. I'm not sure if I know what it looks like. Doesn't look like a regular rose bush to me..so I'm curious.

Betty the Confederate rose is actually a hibiscus.

I don't have one either. They look like giant cotton stalks to me. I'd rather plant okra, also of that family and edible.
