Let's clean house

It's Friday. 25 degrees and sunny. Two cats growling on the front porch woke me up this morning. One was white cat, the resident stray that I feed. The other was the three legged cat from next door. I stuck my head out to feed white cat as I do every morning. It's cold. I think I'll stay inside and clean today. After lunch, I'll apply for more jobs.

White Cat. We don't know her real name, but she doesn't seem to mind.

I still have 4 more pallets that need to be broken down. Today might be a good day to tackle that job inside. Of course, the basement needs to be cleaned again too. I wintersowed more containers yesterday bringing my total to 144.

That's my chair

I told you that today was full of possibilities. I did manage to get the basement clean. It didn't stay that way for long. I built me a chair loosely using a pattern from Popular Mechanics Magazine. The legs are built from pieces of treated decking material left over from the rebuilding of the deck this summer. The arms are made from scrap pine from another project. The rest is made from those two pallets I ripped apart last week.

And before you ask, yes. It is very comfortable. I will finally be able to sit down outside somewhere other than the front steps.
