Finding a spot.

A few of the outdoor plants are frost tender. They've been grown in pots all summer. I had to bring them in today. We'll be around 40 degrees this weekend. That's too cool for tropicals in my opinion. I'd rather they stay in the 60 degree range. We've already been below that a few times. It's nice and 68 today. Rain comes and goes. Blue skies give way to thunderstorms. It's a good day.

I've spent the day cleaning the house. It feels good to put things where they belong. This afternoon, I need to get into the basement. I might feel an urge to build a fire soon. But it's hard to leave this feeling.

Glad you are having a good indoor day today Tom. Your home looks so clean and orderly.

Is that pineapple sage I see by the picket fence? The picture underneath looks like a pencil cactus, is that right?

Sure wish it would cool off down here. With the humidity it feels like it is 89. Very overcast, warm and humid, not nice at all.

Have a nice evening and thank you for your nice comment in my latest post.

"Neat Freaks" bother me. They are always hiding...something. (joke)

Jim, I'm not obsessive about it. I only clean maybe once a month like this. I just don't have a lot of stuff. My memories are in my head of things done, not items purchased.

I'm hiding nothing. My front door is purple.

Tom, does this new promotion mean that you're going to be staying in the area? Is the house still on the market for sale?

I will be working in the same store in the same garden center. I'm a little nervous and hope that I can transition with the customers as much as I will in duties. They're looking for a strong replacement for me. I need a teammate the way Carla and I have been this past year. The house is still for sale.

Your place cleans up great. I keep moving things in then take them back out. Once the 40's becomes 30's I will find a pick a room for them to stay in for the winter. I have a plant light to get set up somewhere soon.

Tom, this picture with the picket fence showing is my favorite of all the pictures you have posted! It makes me think of gardens in the rain forest of the state of Washington, very lush.

Promotion, what promotion. I have to see what posts I have missed. Anyway, belated congratulations. They know a good thing when they find one!
