If a photo can speak a thousand words then your "year in review" speaks volumns. For those of us who have followed along during the course of the year there are so many stories in each photo. I particularly like the smoke coming from the chimney in the last photo knowing that Tom is somewhere inside enjoying his coffee!
I am so jealous that you did a year in review. I didn't get organized until about March, so I would have to dig around in files to find Jan. and Feb. Oh heck I can just show piles of snow and no one would even know I was cheating. Keep up your love of growing and creating and have a great New Year.
Thanks everyone. It was a good year. Cindy, the garage door is purple, but the sunlight reflecting off it makes it look white in the last picture. It was dark green when I bought the house, then white, now purple.
The fence is near the house, but doesn't touch it. It's the gateway to the backyard. There's an arbor across the driveway leading into the perennial bed.
I've seen pics of the new fence, but I really thought it was on the other side of the driveway. Seeing it from this perspective makes so much more sense!
I love what you've done to your yard in such a short time! It almost makes me tired to see you in action, lol.

Tom those are fantastic picture choices. This was a great post. I especially loved your dining room shot. It is quiet and elegant. Lovely.
