They need a warm period then 90 cold days then another warm period to germinate. I planted those in October. Our first frost wasn't until late November. We dipped below freezing a few times prior to that, but no frost.Tom - 7th Street Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416233066465228351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-17004252561359170592009-03-17T11:43:00.000-04:002009-03-17T11:43:00.000-04:00Just when I think I can't believe what you've grow...Just when I think I can't believe what you've grown I see lilacs and dogwoods. Those will be great to watch get bigger. Please keep sharing pictures of them as they grow.Catherine@AGardenerinProgresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05001060769253273283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-20490772650744858612009-03-17T11:18:00.000-04:002009-03-17T11:18:00.000-04:00Linda, it's still not too late. I didn't this year on account of my massive bad mood and garden discouragement (which I hope I'm recovering from now). I'll miss having all those little ones to put out. Oh well...I can look forward to the Sweet Williams I started last year. If all goes well this should be the year for blooms.

Your garden is going to be stunning!

LindakimyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-28864118345610712722009-03-17T08:55:00.000-04:002009-03-17T08:55:00.000-04:00Amen, Randy. I've dumped a 1" deep container three times now.

Heather, spring is coming. Really, it is. :)Tom - 7th Street Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416233066465228351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-89821501943262028712009-03-17T08:53:00.000-04:002009-03-17T08:53:00.000-04:00I think the good weather is heading our way as wel...I think the good weather is heading our way as well.
