But after finishing the dining room, I realized that I liked it a lot more than the newer doors I installed in the bathroom. So the idea now is to remove the doors and strip them completely. It takes about 12 hours per door based on the one I have done already. That's why I had chosen to buy new doors. But I still need to get new hardware and some filling will have to be done around the doorknobs. The old doors originally had a skeleton key lock and knob.Tom - 7th Street Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416233066465228351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-89377276678070145292009-02-25T09:05:00.000-05:002009-02-25T09:05:00.000-05:00I love the hardwood floors and that you kept thing...I love the hardwood floors and that you kept things period true. I got rid of the basemold on top that was the original design. I think it looks a little more modern, and it was cheaper. :)Tom - 7th Street Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416233066465228351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620060925762450118.post-36933536034345717932009-02-24T21:24:00.000-05:002009-02-24T21:24:00.000-05:00Very clever with the crown trim.
